Penecrete ready-to-use powder is another product of ICS-Penetron Company which is used to repair concrete surfaces, fill deep cracks and prepare a surface to apply the Penetron coating.
– Repairing damages of concrete structures like: pools, concrete tanks, bridges, piers, cooling towers etc.
– Modification and removal of cracking, fracturing and chipping of concrete walls and surfaces
– Cases that need sealing in addition to repairing
Considering the penetration function of Penecrete, repairing by Penecrete results in integrating the repaired part with the whole structure. Thus, due to its strong adhesion to concrete (about 250 psi), It is practically impossible for the repaired layer to disengage from the concrete structure without application of an external strong force.
Penecrete’s significant advantage is its resistance to corrosive environments within the pH range of pH=3-12, therefore, it is strongly recommended for repairing concrete structures in the coastal regions of Iran’s north and south.
The surface must be fully clean and free from any dust, petroleum contaminants as well as loose particles.
Add as much of water to the Penecrete powder to become a stiff paste. Then spread the paste by a spatula on the damaged surfaces or fill deep cracks by this paste.
