Due to the high resistance of ER-2 Antacid mortar against strong acids, oils, and solvents, it may be used as cover in antacid tanks and pools, electrolysis baths, chemical surfaces subject to sunlight and atmospheric factors, and cover of chemical surfaces in high temperatures. Moreover, this product may be used as an antacid mortar for various antacid tiling and bricklaying and pointing on all chemical, acidic and alkaline surfaces.
ER-2 Antacid mortar
ER-2 Antacid mortar is a ternary compound based on propoxylated bisphenol epoxy resin. Extremely high resistance to acids enables its use as a cover for any surface adjacent to strong acids.
The high adhesion, thermal resistance as well as mechanical strength of the product make it useful as a cover or a mortar in many of severe conditions.
- Resistant to various strong acids such as sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, etc.
- Resistant to hydrocarbon solvents, mineral oils, alkaline environments, and salts.
- High mechanical, thermal, and abrasive resistance.
- According to the mix design and depending on the skillfulness of the application staff, select the proper amount of the resin, the hardener, and the filler. Then, first, mix resin and filler, and add the hardener at the last step, and apply it after 3 minutes mixing.
- Shake the resin well before use.
- The application surface must be free from any dust, grease, and wetness.
