Prefabricated concrete structures like walls, columns and beams, connecting bolts to a foundation, column plate, foundations for machinery and locomotive cranes, bridge piers.

Poolad-2 Grout has higher abrasive resistance compared to Poolad-1 Grout, thus it may be used to make hard floorings.

To make and use a suitable and desirable grout, it is necessary to provide arrangements for proper implementation of the work. The appropriate temperature of making and use of the grout is 10-30˚C and the temperature of ambience and materials should be kept in this range.

Cold weather causes slowing setting time and not reaching the intended initial strength. While, hot weather results in accelerating the setting time and consequently early drying and loss of the grout’s workability. The place in which the grout is applied must be clean and free from any dust, oil and grease. The place should be totally wet.

During grouting, proper angle of pouring must be kept for unobstructed movement of the grout and grouting must be continuous to avoid the development of air bubbles.

Poolad-1 Grout is a ready-to-use product which must only be mixed with high quality water (free from additional salts and drinkable). The amount of water required to make the mortar is varied between 14% and 18% of the dry material weight depending on the required plasticity.

Protection and safety

• This material is not classified as hazardous and harmful to health and the environment; however, it must not be swallowed or be in contact with the eyes.
• In case of accidental contact with skin or eyes, immediately rinse it with plenty of water.In case of being swallowed, immediately visit a physician.
• This material is not inflammable.

• The curing of applied grouting is of great importance, thus it should be protected by wet jute or concrete curing agents for 28 days.
• The applied grout must be kept wet during the first 7 days.
