It is used for sealing in the following cases:

– Various surfaces such as horizontal or pitched roofs

– Building’s bathrooms

– Building’s interior and exterior vertical walls

– Large and small water tanks

– Concrete and metal structures

Due to dilution by water, sealing operation is easily, confidently and safely carried out. It remains flexible in high and below zero temperatures. The water available in BE-1 dries during 0.5 to 4 hours and then the developed layer becomes completely impermeable.

It is possible to make coating by BE-1 itself or along with reinforcing fibers (such as jute, asbestos, artificial fibers).

1. a) Conventional method

First, wash the surface by water and totally clean it. Then, dilute BE-1 by 10% to 15% water and apply to the surface by a sweeper. To be sure about complete sealing of the surface, apply the coating in several layers.

1. b) Using reinforcing fibers

To seal critical surfaces such as roofs and bathroom floors, BE-1 coating may be applied using reinforcing fibers as follows:

First, apply the initial layer by the conventional method. Then, place the reinforcing fibers on the applied layer and apply the other layer by BE-1. In the final layer, make a mix using graded washed sand (3 measures), BE-1 Sealant (2 measures) and water (1 measure) and apply it in a layer of 0.5-2 cm thickness by wooden or metal trowel.

The mortar will be dry and walkable during 4-12 hours. To dry the mortar earlier, add some cement to the mix.
