AF-1 Concrete antifreeze admixture
By the arrival of the cold season and freezing, concreting operations cease, resulting in a large number of facilities and workforce becoming useless. Using AF-1 Concrete antifreeze admixture is an appropriate way of solving this problem. AF-1 Antifreeze admixture is produced according to ASTM C494 and C666.

- Reduction of water freezing point causing the elimination of freezing hazard in fresh concrete. Using AF-1 Antifreeze admixture, concreting may be done down to -15℃.
- It increases concrete slump, in other words, it also has a plasticizing role. Thus, to get a constant slump, you may reduce water used.
- Its aerating property results in increasing concrete strength against alternative cycles of freezing and thawing. This property of the product is highly useful and significant, and its use is strongly recommended in concretes subjected to continuous freeze-thaw cycles.
- Add AF-1 Concrete antifreeze admixture to concrete during its mixing as 1 to 4 weight percent of cement according to the values provided in the table. The amount used is directly related to temperature and it should be noted that to determine ambient temperature, minimum temperature experienced during the setting time should be considered as the base for this determination.
- This material is not classified as hazardous and harmful to health and the environment; however, it must not be swallowed or be in contact with the eyes.
- In case of accidental contact with skin or eyes, immediately rinseit with plenty of water.In case of being swallowed, immediately visit a physician.
- This material is not inflammable.
