PU-1 Resistant hot mastic

PU-1 Mastic is a one component paste based on the modified polyurethane produced and offered with variable flexibility.

PU-1 Mastic is applicable as a hot paste and shows outstanding adhesion to various types of surfaces and is resistant to a variety of chemical solvents (acids and alkalis) and high voltage electricity.

PU-1 Mastic is according to ASTM D1855.

FR-1 Mastic is used to fill and seal expansion joints:

The working surface must be totally clean and free from any loose fragments, dust, grease and oil.

First, place the required amount of HS-1 Mastic in a hot oil bath of 160˚C to totally melt and flow. Then pour it into the joints by appropriate containers and methods.

To obtain a suitable adhesion, the proportion of joint’s depth to width should be greater than 1.

The pot life of ready-to-use mastic is about 30 minutes.
